Getting Started

To utilize the app, you must first create an account with us. The process is straightforward and requires your National Insurance number, customer number, personal email address, and mobile number.

App Features

Through the app, you can:

• Check your pension pot value and estimate its worth upon retirement
• Review personal details
• Add beneficiaries
• Consolidate old pensions into a single pot
• Examine how your pension is invested
• Receive guidance on future planning and retirement
• Access expert assistance when necessary

Charges

All pension schemes apply charges to their members. The People’s Pension implements an annual management charge consisting of three components:

• An annual charge
• An ongoing management charge of 0.5% (i.e., 50p for every £100 saved)
• A rebate on the management charge, which reduces based on the size of your pension pot

Distinctively, we provide a one-pot, best-price guarantee. If you leave us and return with a new employer or transfer additional pension savings, your funds will remain in the same pot and will continue to be charged at the lowest rate applicable during your membership.

Safeguarding Your Money

Your pension pot is securely held in trust, ensuring it is completely separate from both our organization and your employer. The People’s Pension Scheme is a defined contribution occupational pension scheme managed by People’s Partnership Limited, part of the People’s Partnership Group—a not-for-profit entity offering financial products and benefits tailored for working individuals.

The Pension Scheme operates under the governance of a board comprised of experienced independent corporate trustee directors who prioritize member interests above all else. It is registered with The Pensions Regulator, which works to protect member savings and promote high standards in pension administration.

The Trustee guarantees that the Scheme adheres to pensions law as well as the Codes of Practice issued by The Pensions Regulator. Furthermore, it is registered with HM Revenue & Customs for favorable tax treatment on contributions made to your savings.

Investment Performance

The scheme Trustee collaborates with investment professionals to periodically evaluate fund performance. While the Trustee cannot advise on specific investment choices, they aim to ensure optimal performance for any options you select. Please be aware that investments can fluctuate in value.
